Hi-Tec Systems, Inc., enhances the safety and security of air travel. Hi-Tec engineers and researchers develop new technologies, modernize air traffic management systems, create performance measures for Federal Aviation Administration inspectors, improve airport screening for passengers, weapons and cargo, and design antiterrorism plans. Hi-Tec provides engineering, research and IT services to agencies in the U.S. Departments of Transportation, Homeland Security, Defense, and NASA, as well as the U.N.’s International Civil Aviation Organization, aviation authorities, airports, and airlines around the world.
In the last few years, Hi-Tec has won three contracts with ceilings totaling $183 million. And, Hi-Tec still has the first contract it won in 1995. A May 2005 Department of Transportation newsletter recognized Hi-Tec as a small business "Success Story." Secretary Norman Mineta bestowed Hi-Tec with the DOT’s Disadvantaged Business Enterprise Award, documenting what the Federal Aviation Administration two years ago called “invaluable” technical expertise, system engineering, and data analysis in its research initiatives. Aviation Week & Space Technology gave President/CEO Tribhuvan Singh its 2003 Laurels Award for Outstanding Achievement.
Hi-Tec Systems is an SBA-certified Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB). We are conveniently located near the Washington, DC, headquarters of both the FAA and Transportation Security Administration (TSA), and near the FAA William J. Hughes Technical Center in Atlantic City, NJ.
