Hi-Tec Systems, Inc. was recently awarded a large Information Technologies (IT) contract, known as BITS II, by the Federal Aviation Administration. BITS is an acronym for Broad Information Technology and Telecommunications Services and provides 109 different labor categories to support the FAA and other Federal agencies in a timely manner without going through a lengthy procurement process.
BITS II is an IDIQ contract with a $50M ceiling. It is an eight-year contract, with a one-year base period, followed by seven (7) one-year options. This gives customers the confidence of knowing that an on-going project can be completed by a contractor without the need to re-procure. According to Hi-Tec President and CEO, Tribhuvan Singh “This award is a major step for Hi-Tec in its on-going efforts to support the critical mission of the FAA at a time when that mission is rapidly evolving to meet changing world conditions.
