Provides professional services in the areas of acquisition management and contract administration. The Senior Acquisitions Analyst acts as lead for the contractor procurement support team. Current opening for a junior or entry-level Test Engineer to provide test engineering support for aviation and transportation security equipment. Work involves data collection, testing and field evaluation of aviation security checked and carry-on baggage screening systems at airports and other transportation venues. Position requires frequent travel within the continental United States. Candidates must be physically fit and able to periodically lift and move test articles (less than 50 pounds each) onto and off conveyors and other horizontal and inclined surfaces, and have the ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods while testing and collecting data in the field. Human Factors Specialist (Ref.# HT-06-013 )

Current opening for a Human Factors Specialist to perform human factors engineering functions for computer human interface (CHI) analysis, situational awareness, human-in-the-loop scenarios, ergonomics and kinematics. The qualified candidate will ensure that human factors are systematically integrated into the planning and execution of FAA activities associated with system acquisition and system operations. Will be responsible for providing the research foundation for FAA guidelines, handbooks, advisory circulars, rules and regulations that help to ensure the safety and efficiency of aircraft operations. Human Factors Engineer / Research Psychologist (Ref.# HT-06-016 )

Oversees multiple Human Factors projects. This individual will act as the Program Manager for Hi-Tec's Human Factors Program and will provide technical guidance, supervise multiple human factors engineers, review projects status, and prepare monthly project status reports. Will work closely with government program personnel in planning future task and estimating resource requirements. Will be responsible for writing technical proposals and grant proposals, and performing marketing to expand the human factors program and establish new customer base. Will perform in-depth analysis of complex security related systems to determine potential for further development, production, interface to other systems, and usefulness in the environment. Will review and comment on test plans and procedures, review test/program assessment reports, brief government staff on ongoing activities, and interview government and non-government personnel in order to improve system engineering knowledge. Secret Clearance or higher required, or must have had a Secret Clearance active within the last 5 years, so it may be reactivated. Hiring preference will be give to status of clearance.
