On June 30, Hi-Tec Systems, Inc. was awarded a Professional Engineering and Technical Services contract by the General Services Administration (GSA). This contract may be used by all Federal agencies and mixed-ownership Government corporations, as well as by Government contractors that have been so authorized by a Federal agency. It provides 70 different labor categories to support Government customers. On September 15, the contract was modified to add MOBIS (Management and Other Business and Information Services) coverage, encompassing many of the same labor categories, but in this different business area. This GSA award provides Hi-Tec with a contract vehicle that makes the ordering process easier and more expeditious for Government users. It has an initial five (5) year term, followed by three (3) additional five-year options.
